Everything I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten
"Why are you trying so hard to fit in when you are born to stand out?" - What a girl wants, 2003
Most of what you really need to know about how to live and what to do, and how to be, you learned in kindergarten. Many things are determined before that time. After that everyone disperse. Wisdom was not at the top of the graduate school mountain, but there in the sandbox at nursery school. '(S)he didn't go through university' is not an excuse to be inconsiderate and ignorant.Share everything. Play fair. Don't hit people. Put things back where you found them. Clean up your own mess. Don't take things that aren't yours. Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody. Wash your hands before you eat. Flush. Cookies and milk are good for you. Learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some. Take a nap every afternoon. When you go out into the world, watch for traffic, hold hands and stick together. Be aware of wonder. Love your family. Love your friends.Don't talk to strangers.Be polite.Be honest. Use your five senses.

oh oh..... I skipped kindergarten. So I need more time to learn the many different things they crammed into that one year!
